This is to supersede all of our previous
notification.
Kindly
be informed that “K” LINE has been implementing
new regulation for indicating seal
number in bill of lading of all services as followings with IMMEDIATE EFFECT:
Example (for
new seal number)
BAA12345 (8
digit with 3 alphabets and 5 numbers. Pls do not show prefix ‘KL’ or ‘K’ or ‘KLINE’)
Example (for
old seal number)
BA12345 (7
digit with 2 alphabets and 5 numbers. Pls do not show prefix ‘KL’ or ‘K’ or
‘KLINE’)
In case the prefix “KL” or “K” or “KLINE” is indicated in your
shipping instruction document, we will not show the prefix of above in Bill of
Lading (which is NOT part of our seal number).
