Re : Notification for Procedure of cargo acceptance of "Batteries" ex South

China & Hong Kong

Kindly be informed that K line has implemented new policy for acceptance of hazardous & non hazardous batteries shipment ex South China & Hong Kong to worldwide with immediately effect. For cargo booking, please clearly indicate “battery” on cargo description column on the shipping order for either full load or consol box for our application with special stowage. All batteries shipment must be placed at “on deck protected stowage” on the ship.

In case any battery shipment had been found mis-declared or without any approval, we reserve the right to hold full responsibility with shipper and all cost incurred for cargo holding at origin/

transshipment port and all re-stowage charges will be absorbed by shipper.
