European 24 Hour Advanced Manifest Rule (3)

 

Following is the list of the first vessels for our Container services which we will be lodging Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) to respective EU customs for Containerised Deep Sea Cargoes.

ENS submission will be handled at each loading port of the listed vessels.

ENS deadlines; ENS must be lodged to the custom by¡K

Deep Sea Cargoes: At least 24 hours before commencement of loading in each non-EU port.

Short Sea Cargoes: At least 2 hours before arrival at the first EU port.

 

 

Definition of Short Sea (as per European Commission);

[1]        Movements between Greenland, Faroe Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Norway, Iceland, ports on the Baltic Sea, ports on the North Sea, ports on the Black Sea or ports on the Mediterranean, all ports of Morocco and all EU ports except French overseas departments, Azores, Madeira and Canary Islands. (No ENS is required for ex Norway cargoes.)

 

 

 

 

[2]        Movements with duration of less than 24 hours between all EU ports and the French overseas departments, Azores, Madeira and Canary Islands.

 

The List of the First Vessels for the Short Sea cargoes will be announced in due course.

 

Above is a list of vessels of our Deep Sea services. The bookings you may make locally to may have different vessel names as they are connected to above listed vessels by other services.

ENS declaration is made against the vessel actually in the EU first port of entry. It is made by the Port of Loading on that mother vessel.

Cargoes connecting by feeder will therefore be declared by the K Line office at the Transhipment Port/Port of Loading on one of the above vessels.

 

Please consult with our customer service team for more information on the first applicable vessel for this rule.
