PLS KINDLY FIND ENCLOSED NEW ARGENTINE CUSTOMS REGULATIONS IN FORCE FOR ALL CARGOES

ARRIVING AT BUENOS AIRES.

Pursuant to Argentine Customs new regulations, all shippers MUST need to put the below particulars on BL and CARGO MANIFEST as effective from 1^st May, 2010 that means the vessels arriving at Argentine on this date or onwards (effective VSL: YM TIANJIN V.102W, ETA HKG/Shekou 8^TH April 2010).

Customers should be provided CUIT number/HS CODE and forwarder agent need to declare 'CONSOLIDATED CARGO" or not.

1. The Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (C.U.I.T). - (put on consignee column)

2. Six digit HS code (Harmonized System code). - (put on cargo description)

3. For forwarder shpt, they need to provide C.U.I.T number to us and also declare

"CONSOLIDATED CARGO" onto their SI if this is actually "CONSOLIDATED SHPT".

The lack of presentation of required information could cause the delays in cargo clearance, extra charges in storages, penalties or operating fees, etc. And it will be for account of shipper.
