The Strike has officially ended with a resolution having been made. Transnet terminal are expecting staff to return to work on Monday 31 May 2010 in full capacity .

The reason for the delay is that they Union Leaders have to inform the labor force of this which takes about 2 days and we have a weekend in between as well.

As of this morning at the container terminal 9 gantries are working with limited landside recourses to clear import containers. Export containers are not yet being allowed into stack due to a shortage of staff.
