Subject: AMS Data Transmission via Sub Loop for New Andes Service

 

We are pleased to inform that K Line will inaugurate our new Andes service to West Coast of South America as follows:

 

Main loop : Yokohama-Keelung-Hong Kong-Da Chan Bay-Xiamen-Shanghai-Busan-Manzanillo-Callao-Iquique-

                  Valparaiso-Lirquen-Callao-Manzanillo-Yokohama

Effective vessel : MOL Bravery v.0101E- ETD HK 24/7, Da Chan Bay ¡V ETD 25/7, Xiamen ¡V ETD 26/7

 

Sub loop : Tokyo-Busan-Shanghai-Ningbo-Nagoya-Yokohama-Honolulu-Manzanillo-Buneaventura-Guayaquil,

    Manzanillo-Honolulu-Tokyo

Effective vessel : MOL Satisfaction v.0101E, ETD Busan- 29/7, ETD Shanghai ¡V 31/7

(remark : Trans-shipment will be arranged via Busan or Shanghai)

 

 

AMS Application for Sub Loop:

 

1)      Since Manzanillo, Buenaventure & Guayaquil are all after the Honolulu call, all FROB cargo on Sub Loop should follow USA 24hours rule.  All manifests including forwarder or Nvocc¡¦s house BL need to submit to US CBP 24 hours before vessel arrive at loading port. 

 

2)      HS Code (Harmonized Tariff Schedule number) is imperative to submit on manifest.  Otherwise, US CBP will reject the manifest data on submission and cause containers do not allow load on board. 

 

3)      If forwarder or Nvocc's house BL data failure submission to US CBP 24 hours before vessel arrival at loading port, it will result with penalty or US CBP sending the hold containers instruction to loading port.

 

4)       If forwarder/Nvocc without US-AMS ability, we could accept their house BL data submit to US CBP on behalf of them.

 

5)      The destination port Customs: Mexico, Columbia and Guayaquil do not allow carrier submit house BL data on behalf of forwarder/Nvocc.  Forwarder/Nvocc is required to submit their house BL data directly to destination Customs.  But also submit to carrier if forwader/Nvocc without AMS ability.
