Subject: B/L Requirement for Guayaquil, Ecuador port

Please be informed that the new instruction from Ecuador Government (Port: Guayaquil)

with immediate effect as follows:

1) Full Contact Name, Address, Telephone number for Shipper, Consignee, Notify Party on the

Bill of Lading.

2) RUC Number (Ecuador’s Tax Identification number used for tax payments) must input into

Consignee or Notify Party column.

3) Cargo Weight and Measurement must be included for each Commodity and Container.

4) BL and manifest data must be equal and no discrepancy.

5) Since Guayaquil shipment’s will T/S at Far East Port to destination via Honolulu, it is

necessary to comply with USC 24 hours manifest advance rules so SI submission must 

before our SI cut off. 

If any missing or discrepancy between manifest data and BL, will result with penalty by Customs

or cause unnecessary expenses. And it will be for account of shipper.
