1/ The party paying origin Terminal Handling Charges will have to pay the origin Terminal ISPS charge  (ISP)
2/ The party that pays the Ocean freight will have to pay the Carrier ISPS charge  (CIS)
3/ The party paying destination Terminal Handling Charges will have to pay the destination Terminal ISPS charge  (ISD)
4/ In cases where the ocean freight is inclusive of  LTHC  then the  ISP  charge will be paid by the freight paying party
5/ In cases where the ocean freight is inclusive of  DTHC the  ISD  charge will be paid by the freight paying party
6/ Charges are applied based on the first-water port of loading and last-water port of discharge 
7/ Transhipment ports between Bill of Lading POL and POD have no impact on charges
Please note the following information relating to Felixstowe, UK only :
Origin office to manifest CIS charge for UK at £1.50 per container for all containers destined for the UK 
If "K"Line is nominated to arrange the clearance in the UK then "K"Line Felixstowe will add an additional charge line
to the manifest by way of CTM for a further £10.50 or add it together with the Carrier's ISPS to make total charge of £12.00
per container
Please note the following information relating to Taiwanese Shipments :
As the Keelung Harbor Bureau who represent the Ministry of Communication in Taiwan have declared that Lines cannot recover the 
ISPS Charges  (CIS/ISD/ISP)  from Taiwanese Merchants then the following rules apply no matter who is paying the Ocean Freight or THC's :
a/ for any Imports to Taiwan the ISPS charges  (CIS/ISD/ISP)  must be Prepaid at POL
b/ for any Exports from Taiwan the ISPS charges  (CIS/ISD/ISP)  must be Collect at POD
The above rules must be followed otherwise the Lines face a fine of up to Usd 3800 per B/L.
