NUMBER ISSUED
Kindly
be informed that “K” LINE will be implementing new regulation for indicating seal number with
8 DIGITS in bill of lading of all
services as followings with IMMEDIATE EFFECT:
Example (for
new seal number)
BAA12345 (8
digits with 3 alphabets and 5 numbers. Pls do not show prefix ‘KL’ or ‘K’ or
‘KLINE’)
In case the prefix “KL” or “K” or “KLINE” is indicated in your
shipping instruction document, we will not show the prefix of above in Bill of
Lading (which is NOT part of our seal number).
However,
if you are still using our old seal with 7 digits (for instance, BA12345), the
current practice of showing prefix of “KL” in our Bill of Lading remains
unchanged.
